From Steel & Copper, the four-track joint EP Burna Boy released with Los Angeles production duo DJDS on 21 March 2019 — four months before African Giant. Pulling on dancehall, reggae, afropop and trap across just four songs (“34”, “Innocent Man”, “Darko” and “Thuggin”), it is widely described as the most experimental project in his catalogue: a producer-led detour taken in the same year that made him a global name.
