TCSN's register is request-based, so a title missing from it proves nothing about what it sold — only that nobody applied. A gap between two artists there can measure paperwork rather than sales, which is why it is counted on its own line.

¹ Not counted — Colombia (Pro Música Colombia). Listed, never summed: these bodies publish no threshold this page can put on the same scale as the rest.
† Multiplier assumed — Promusicae publishes Oro and Platino thresholds only and never states the arithmetic for a multiple. RMNZ publishes no multiplier rule: its Chart Rules and About page define Gold and Platinum only, with one threshold each, and never use the words multi-platinum or 2x. Sony Music Türkiye publishes no threshold table and no multiplier rule; its one printed level is 75,000 units for a Diamond single. An N× Diamond is priced here as N × 75,000. IFPI’s June 2013 list sets Gold and Platinum only and gives no formula for multiples, although IFPI Greece’s own Digital Singles chart prints 2P and 3P in its Award column. An N× certification is priced here as N × Platinum.
‡ This body raised its thresholds since 2015 — the figure is today's level, and a certification awarded before the rise may have cleared a lower bar. Which bodies, and when ↗
§ Ratio assumed — AMPROFON measures singles in audio streams (video streams may be added since November 2020) and publishes no stream-to-unit ratio. Its certifications are converted at 100 streams to a unit, the ratio IFPI Denmark and IFPI Norway publish for the same measure. IFPI Sverige counts songs in capped streams only (since 1 January 2018) and publishes no stream-to-unit ratio. Its certifications are converted at 100 streams to a unit, the ratio IFPI Denmark and IFPI Norway publish for the same measure; capped streams undercount plays, so the figure is a floor.
¶ Historic figure — the line rests on a figure the body published once and no longer prints, so the bar a certification cleared may differ from it. ZPAV sets single levels in złoty of revenue — Gold 125,000 zł, Platinum 250,000 zł, Diamond 1,000,000 zł — and its current rules state no rate. They are converted at 2 zł a single, the rate its own tables used from 2017 to the end of 2024, printing every single level in units and złoty side by side, so a Gold single is 62,500 units. The same 2025 rules raised the album rate from 20 zł to 35 zł, so the units behind a złoty level may differ. IFPI Greece publishes no current level. Priced at IFPI's own International Certification Award levels list, updated June 2013 — the last figure ever published for Greece (singles Gold 3,000 / Platinum 6,000 unit sales; international-repertoire albums the same). The body now certifies from its streaming Digital Singles chart and states no ratio, so a certification awarded today may sit on a different bar.
How this is counted
Every certification is a floor — a Platinum single in the UK means at least 600,000, and could be 1,190,000. This page adds those floors up for two records or two artists, at each certifying body's own published threshold, under identical rules.
