† Multiplier assumed — Promusicae publishes Oro and Platino thresholds only and never states the arithmetic for a multiple. An N× certification is priced here as N × Platinum.
‡ This body raised its thresholds since 2015 — the figure is today's level, and a certification awarded before the rise may have cleared a lower bar. Which bodies, and when ↗
How this is counted
Every certification is a floor — a Platinum single in the UK means at least 600,000, and could be 1,190,000. This page adds those floors up for two records or two artists, at each certifying body's own published threshold, under identical rules.
