Common questions
How many certifications does Tems have?
Tems has 76 certifications across 21 countries, counted one plaque per title per country at its current tier. The most decorated is “Wait For U” (Diamond). Every figure is read from the certifying body's own register, not from press coverage — except 1 plaque in South Africa, read from the label's own award, which the register does not hold.
How many No. 1s does Tems have?
Tems has 7 No. 1 placements on official national charts, from 138 entries in total. A No. 1 counts each time a release reaches the top of a country's chart, not the number of releases that have done it, and platform charts are counted separately on the live board.
Why don't Tems's Nigerian certifications match TurnTable's website?
Because TurnTable's public certification page shows only part of its own register: it serves a hard cap of 500 rows and currently displays no Silver awards at all, for any artist. Tems holds 1 Silver plaque among 8 Nigerian plaques here, so at least that many cannot appear on the live page. They are read from the same register's own archived captures rather than inferred — open the February 2026 capture and search Tems's name to see them.
Is Tems more certified than Rema?
No. Tems holds 76 plaques; Rema holds 85, counted under the same rule — one plaque per title per country at its current tier. The country spread differs too: 21 against 23.
Which countries has Tems been certified in?
Tems holds plaques in 21 countries, including New Zealand, United Kingdom, Nigeria, Canada, United States, Portugal and more. Each is awarded by that country's own certifying body, and the full country-by-country breakdown is on this page.
